The signs of this are everywhere, and include the Giralda in Seville, once part of a Mosque, and now right next to the Cathedral, Córdoba, with the unique, amazing Mosque-Cathedral and Granada, with its small, whitewashed houses in the shadow of the majestic, imposing Alhambra complex.
You will also have time to explore the city of Jaén, the olive-oil capital of Spain, and Antequera, where there are traces of human occupation dating back to the Bronze Age.
